The impact

Pool environments corrode standard outdoor LED cabinets within months through chlorine atmosphere, humidity, and splash exposure, so StarLED specified a P4 to P6 Magnesium Series IP65-rated screen with chlorine-atmosphere-resistant alloy framing, a sealed conduit cable run set into the pool deck, and Novastar scene presets for movie mode, ambient wave loops, and party-mode colour washes. Yes, with the correct specification. Standard outdoor aluminium LED cabinets begin to corrode in chlorinated humid atmospheres within months. StarLED specifies Magnesium Series cabinets for poolside installs because magnesium alloy handles chlorine atmosphere significantly better than aluminium at equivalent structural strength. Combined with IP65 front sealing and sealed conduit cable runs set into the pool deck, no electrical component is exposed to the pool environment at any point.

IP65 is the minimum front-face rating for poolside LED. It seals the display against water jets, rain, splash, and the high-humidity atmosphere of an active pool environment. StarLED also applies rear sealing and routes all cabling through sealed conduit embedded in the pool deck so no exposed connection point exists at or near the water line at any time.

Magnesium alloy handles chlorinated humid air significantly better than standard aluminium under long-term continuous exposure. For a permanent poolside install where the screen faces chlorinated atmosphere twenty-four hours a day throughout the year, the alloy choice is what determines whether the cabinet is still performing in year three or corroding by the end of year one. It is a specification decision, not a cosmetic one.

Yes. Novastar CMS supports scene-based switching, so movie mode, ambient wave loop mode, and party-mode colour wash are each stored as a preset and triggered from a single poolside tablet with one tap. There is no setup process or technical configuration required between modes, which means the screen adapts to the occasion in real time without any assistance from an operator or technician.
