Shopping Mall Pillar Wrap — 4-Face Column LED UAE

The impact

Structural mall pillars are typically invisible to shoppers and generate zero revenue for the operator, so StarLED fabricated a P2.5 to P3 All-in-One COB SMD four-face column wwith factory mitre-joined corners installed overnight across a single closed-hours shift without impacting trading. Tenants bid for the space within the first week, and the pillar that once contributed nothing now operates as a continuous ad-revenue surface visible from every approach angle on the retail floor.

FAQ ·Mall Retail and Fixtures

Mall Retail and Fixtures LED, answered.

Four questions we hear from mall retail and fixture brands across the UAE — indoor refresh rate, corner-wraps, posters, and what an install actually costs.

Yes. Factory mitre-cut cabinets allow four LED faces to meet seamlessly at each ninety-degree corner of a square structural column. StarLED's All-in-One COB SMD build supports this with pre-engineered corner modules, so the column reads as one continuous 360-degree display surface from every approach angle on the retail floor rather than four screens bolted to a pillar.

All fabrication is completed off-site before the install date. The steel sub-frame and four LED faces are pre-built to dimension, which means on-site installation time is limited to one or two overnight closed-hours shifts. The mall reopens for trading the following morning with the column fully active, and no trading hours are impacted at any point during the process.

Mall column viewing distances range from one to six metres as shoppers move across the retail floor. P2.5 to P3 is the correct specification band. P2.5 is sharper for close sightlines where customers approach the column directly. P3 is a cost-effective alternative where the primary audience is a few metres away with the column in peripheral rather than direct view.

Yes. Novastar drives all four faces as one logical display, which means a single ad can play synchronously across every face simultaneously, or different content can run on individual faces for a multi-tenant time-share arrangement. The CMS generates billing-grade scheduling logs, which means the mall operator can charge tenants per face, per time slot, with a verifiable record for each booking
