Fitness Zone City Walk — Outdoor 3-Face LED Cube, DUBAI

The impact

City Walk foot traffic approaches from multiple angles simultaneously, and a flat sign only serves one of them, so StarLED engineered a P4 to P6 SQ Series 3-face sculptural cube with factory mitre-cut edges running Novastar-synced content across all three faces continuously plus a Poster Display portrait touchpoint nearby. People stop, photograph the cube, read the poster, then walk in, a sequence that was designed and executed exactly as planned.

Fithub Al Warqaa — Immersive Cycling Studio LED, Dubai

The impact

: A spin studio in Dubai competes on the quality of the experience it sells, and Fithub needed riders transported into virtual outdoor environments rather than staring at a blank wall, so StarLED built a seamless full-wall P2.5 to P3 NX Series install at 3,840Hz refresh with soft blue perimeter strips and a Novastar ride library that instructors switch per class from a tablet. Class attendance increased and streamers began booking the venue specifically because the room looked production-ready on camera.

FAQ Fitness Sector

LED Solutions for fitness Sector, answered.

Five questions we hear from Fitness Sector clients across the Dubai — outdoor brightness, indoor brightness, pixel pitch, how long it takes to build a stage, and what an install actually costs.

Immersive cycling rooms have riders three to six metres from the wall. P2.5 to P3 is the correct specification band. P2.5 is ideal for content with fine detail, such as park trail textures and city street rides, where the screen needs to disappear into the visual so completely that riders stop thinking about the technology and focus entirely on the route.

Riders and fitness influencers capture workouts for social media throughout every class. Below 3,840Hz, phone cameras pick up visible horizontal scan bands on the LED wall in every clip, which breaks the immersive effect and produces poor-quality content. A 3,840Hz refresh rate keeps every capture scan-band free, which is why streamers actively seek out venues that have specified this correctly.

Yes. StarLED's SQ Series uses factory mitre-cut cabinets that meet at engineered angles for cube construction. The three faces are pre-fabricated to the exact geometry, all electronics are concealed inside the cube structure, and a single power and data drop enters through the base. Novastar sync-plays content across all three faces as one logical display so the cube reads as one animated object from any approach direction.

The room operates dark with the LED wall as the primary light source. Soft perimeter strips, typically blue or accent-colour, trace the floor or ceiling line to frame the space without lifting the ambient light level enough to compete with the screen. This keeps the LED wall dominant in the visual field so the ride experience feels like an outdoor environment rather than a gym with a big screen on the wall.

Yes. Novastar CMS runs a content library of virtual routes and the instructor triggers the next route from a tablet at the front of the room. Switching is instant with no black screen, no reset delay, and no loading sequence between tracks. The content changes in sync with the music and the instructor's cue, with no visible disruption to the experience for riders.
